Migrants Apprehended Overnight

EL PASO, Texas -- Overnight, a large group of migrants were apprehended by border patrol at the R R Bustamante Wastewater Treatment Plant in Socorro, Southeast of El Paso.

Video our crews took at the scene show the migrants lined up waiting for border patrol to take them in. Border Patrol agents pointing their lights at the group while checking their pockets.

The City of El Paso is investing $2 million dollars to help transport migrants to their destinations. Part of the City efforts to try to get migrants off the streets include a processing center for migrants, but many asylum seekers are still waiting today in downtown. Trying to figure out what's next.

This is a developing story, more details to follow.
