The Braden Aboud Memorial Foundation’s 19th B-Strong Shoe Giveaway

EL PASO, Texas -- Happening today, the Braden Aboud Memorial Foundation announces its 19th B Strong Shoe Giveaway.

This year’s recipient is Sageland Elementary school in the Ysleta Independent School District located in the lower valley. 479 students will receive a new pair of athletic shoes. This year’s event is sponsored by Albertsons and the McKee Foundation.

The distribution will begin this morning between 8:00 and 8:30 am.

Every year, at least one elementary school is selected to be the recipient of the giveaway, and every student in the school “earns” a pair of shoes through the Earn It program by demonstrating good sportsmanship and character.
