Authorities looking for escaped convict in Anthony, TX

ANTHONY, Texas -- Authorities are looking for an escaped convict who went missing from a federal prison on Saturday morning.

Christian Delgado, 28, went missing from the satellite camp that is next to the La Tuna federal prison. The satellite camp is a minimum security facility and currently houses 223 male offenders.

An internal investigation has been initiated and the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the United States Marshals Service have been notified.

Delgado is 5'9" tall and has brown eyes and hair. He was serving an 87-month sentence for conspiracy to import one kilogram or more of a mixture or substance containing detectable amounts of heroin.
