Road closures in El Paso County, Las Cruces Friday, May 12

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- Here a list of road closures scheduled for Friday, May 12 for El Paso County and the City of Las Cruces.

EL PASO

  • Gateway West @ Eastlake, right lane closed, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • I-10 EB @ Cotton, entrance ramp closed, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • I-10 EB @ Schuster, alternate lane closure, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • I-10 EB, WB @ Trowbridge to Buffalo Soldier, alternate lane closures, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • On Saturday -- Loop 375 (Border Highway), Alameda to North Loop, right lane and exit ramp closed, starts at 6 a.m.

LAS CRUCES

  • A lane closure will be in effect on Pioneer Place from Tuesday, May 9, 2023, to Tuesday, May 23, 2023.
  • Pavement striping and markings maintenance will occur at the following intersections from Tuesday, May 9, 2023, to Thursday, May 18, 2023: 
    • Lohman Avenue at Telshor Boulevard.
    • Foothills Road at Telshor Boulevard.
    • Main Street at El Paseo Road.
    • Wyatt Drive at El Paseo Road.
    • Idaho Avenue at El Paseo Road.
    • Boutz Road at El Paseo Road.
    • Farney Lane at El Paseo Road.
    • The work will take place overnights between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m. All roads will remain open to traffic with intermittent lane closures.
  • Streets Management will be conducting infrastructure maintenance along the crest and slopes of the Las Cruces Dam. Work began Monday, May 1, 2023, and it is expected to be completed June 16, 2023. This schedule is subject to change.
  • Fiber Optic Installation will occur on south Valley Drive, from Avenida de Mesilla to south Main Street, from Monday May 1, 2023, to Monday, May 22, 2023. Moto
