19-year-old man taken to the hospital after shooting in Horizon City
EL PASO, Texas (KVIA)- One man was taken to the hospital with serious injuries after a shooting in Horizon.
It happened near Horizon Blvd. and Mark Twain Avenue at 11:50 p.m. Friday night.
El Paso County Sheriff's office said deputies responded to a call in reference to shots fired.
A 19-year-old man was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
Sheriff's Office Major Crimes Unit was called out and is currently investigating the scene.
Investigation is in its preliminary stages and no further information is available at this time.
Police add there is no eminent threat to the surrounding community.
