Roof damage at El Paso International Airport

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- A portion of the awning in the front entrance of the El Paso International Airport collapsed Wednesday night. The El Paso Fire Department tells ABC-7 no one was hurt.

ABC-7 reached out to airport officials to see if and how the damage might impact operations or flights. We did not immediately hear back.

This happened shortly before 10 p.m. as the Borderland continued to deal with severe thunderstorms.
