‘Violent robber’: Gunman sought in 3 northeast El Paso hold-ups

EL PASO, Texas – Police put out a public call for help Saturday to identify and capture a man they described as a "violent robber" who has held-up three northeast El Paso businesses at gunpoint since the start of June.

The gunman was described by police as Hispanic and in his 30’s. A Spanish speaker, police said he also has long hair, an average build, and walks with a limp.

Authorities said the armed robber is responsible for the following hold-ups:

  • June 3 at 11:45 p.m., The Bar at 10310 McCombs.
  • June 5 at 11:30 p.m., food truck at 9430 McCombs.
  • June 7 at 3:50 a.m., 7-11 store at 4525 Sun Valley. 

Police asked anyone with information on the robberies to contact Crime Stoppers of El Paso at 566-8477(TIPS), or online at crimestoppersofelpaso.org. Authorities said tipsters can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward if their tip leads to an arrest.
