Floodwaters leave drivers stranded in Northeast El Paso

UPDATE: The street has now been opened, according to TXDOT.


EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- Some drivers were left stranded in Northeast El Paso after early morning rain caused some flooding.

Flooding was seen on Gateway North and McCombs. The street is closed until further notice.

Drivers are advised to avoid the area.

ABC-7 saw multiple cars left stranded along the road as well as rushing water.
