Oklahoma woman dies in motorcycle crash on Resler

Update (October 24, 2025): An Oklahoma woman died in a motorcycle crash near Resler and High Ridge Thursday.

The woman, identified by El Paso Police as Yolanda Rainey, 65, was riding her motorcycle on Resler and tried to make a left-hand turn onto High Ridge.

Investigators say Rainey's motorcycle hit a curb, then a rock wall, throwing her off the bike.

Emergency crews rushed Rainey to the hospital, where she died. Police ask anyone who has information regarding the crash to contact them at (915)-832-4400 or Crime Stoppers of El Paso at (915)-566-8477.


EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- A motorcyclist was airlifted to an area hospital this afternoon after a crash in West El Paso.

The crash happened at 2:35 p.m. at Resler and High Ridge. First responders say a motorcycle was involved in the collision.

The FireSTAR helicopter was called in to fly the patient to the hospital.
