Rep. Gabe Vasquez to announce immigration bills at Santa Teresa Port of Entry

SANTA TERESA, New Mexico (KVIA) -- New Mexico District 2 Representative Gabe Vasquez (D) will be announcing a package of bills related to immigration Monday afternoon.

The event will take place at the Santa Teresa Port of Entry. The bill package is being referred to as "common-sense immigration bills" by Vasquez's team.

According to a news release, he will be joined by the mayor of Sunland Park, Javier Perea, Border Industrial Association President Jerry Pacheco, and other "key stakeholders" in the area.
