EL PASO, Texas — T-Mobile was experiencing outages on Monday afternoon throughout portions of the U.S., including Texas and El Paso.

DownDetector, which tracks user-submitted outage reports, indicated a major outage for T-mobile, with more than 100,000 reports received nationwide.

T-Mobile's president of technology tweeted that the company's engineers were working on resolving a "voice and data issue that has been affecting customers around the country. We’re sorry for the inconvenience and hope to have this fixed shortly."

Texas was among the hardest-hit states for the outage, according to DownDetector's outage map.
