Man shot dead in central El Paso; police look for several suspects

EL PASO, Texas -- Police converged in a central El Paso neighborhood Tuesday night where a 28-year-old man was shot and killed inside an apartment home.

The shooting happened around 7 p.m. in the 3800 block of Fillmore Avenue at a small apartment complex. It sits off Dyer, just a few block blocks from the Cassidy Gate at Fort Bliss.

A police spokesman said officers were looking for two or three suspects who fled the shooting scene and were not in custody.

At this point, detectives had no motive as to why the shooting took place.

    1. Pawn shop to blame? Speaking of grasping for straws. If you purchase a gun at a FFL pawn shop you still need to pass a FBI NICS background check or no deal. But you wouldn’t know anything about that. Why are you so dumb Alberto.

    2. I was stationed at Bliss twice when I was in the Army. I still know people at Bliss. That neighborhood had a reputation back in the 80s with Bliss that hasn’t changed to this day. That’s why I guessed that. Now go blow yourself, “Going Forward”.
