1 stabbed during far east El Paso family disturbance
EL PASO, Texas -- A person was stabbed early Sunday during what police described as a case of "family violence" in far east El Paso.
Initially, police said the stabbing victim had died, but about two hours later issued another statement saying detectives were not responding to the scene because the injuries were determined to be "non life-threatening."
The disturbance took place about 4 a.m. at a home in the 12500 block of Carlos Bombach Avenue.
Officers said they discovered the stabbing victim when they responded to a domestic dispute call at that address.
Police didn't indicate what led up to the incident, nor did they indicate if any arrests had been made.
