LAS CRUCES, New Mexico -- A report of a possible person with a gun at Las Cruces High School late Friday afternoon briefly disrupted an after-school wrestling tournament as police scoured the campus.

Police said a teacher who thought she saw someone with a gun prompted their response, but no gunman or weapons were found. The teacher's observation occurred as school was letting out for the day.

The wrestling competition resumed after about an hour of the school gymnasium being on lock-down. Everyone was safe, school officials said.
