EL PASO, Texas — A bomb squad converged on a far east Walmart store Monday afternoon to examine a suspicious package that was later determined to pose "no hazard," El Paso police said.

Access to the Walmart Supercenter parking lot at 12236 Montana Avenue near Loop 375 was closed off for a couple hours due to the police investigation of the object.

Police said the scene was cleared after it was determined the item was not a threat, however they didn't indicate what the package turned out to be.
