Driver arrested after deadly motorcycle crash

UPDATE (03/22): A motorcyclist who was seriously hurt in Saturday night's crash, has now died of his injuries.

Special Traffic Investigators say 48-year-old Matthew Eric Camlin was driving a Harley Davidson motorcycle on Montwood Drive when he was hit by 48-year-old Bryan Scott Parham who was driving a Chevy Malibu.

Parham failed to yield the right of way and turned left in front of Camlin, causing the crash. He fled the scene. Evidence at the site led investigators to Parham's arrest.

Parham has now been charged with accident involving death and was issued a bail of $25,000.

Police said this marks El Paso's 13th traffic fatality of this year compared to nine this time a year ago.

EL PASO, Texas - A crash involving a motorcycle left a person seriously injured in east El Paso Saturday evening, police confirmed.

At around 7 p.m., the crash between the motorcycle and vehicle happened near Montwood and Lee Elder drives, according to the El Paso Police Department. Police did not confirm which driver was injured.

No other information was immediately available.
