Northeast shooting sends one person to the hospital

EL PASO, Texas -- One person was shot and rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries after a shooting in northeast El Paso.

First responders told ABC-7 the shooting happened just before midnight Friday at the 4000 block of Flory Ave.

Hours after the shooting, police remained at the scene as you can see in the photo above.

Officials could not tell us what led up to the shooting or if anyone is in custody.
