Walk a Mile in Her Shoes event heading to Southwest University Park

EL PASO, Texas - The Walk a Mile in Her Shoes event is famous for having men walk in red high heels as a sign of solidarity to raise awareness of domestic violence.

Walk a mile in her shoes is an international event, it is dedicated to survivors of domestic violence. Here in El Paso, this event is in support of the YWCA transitional living center, which provides housing and supportive services for survivors of domestic violence.

The event is scheduled for Thursday at Southwest University Park at 5:30 PM.
