Montana west at Justice, Tierra Este Road closed due to flooding

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- According to the the Texas Department of Transportation, Montana Avenue going west at Justice/Tierra Este Road because of high water levels in the area.

Cars tried to make their way through the road, but drivers took a detour when told the road closed.

"It is an inconvenience because I just came from Walmart," said Yair Garcia. "But now I see this flood and I got to drive over there to the back roads and go all around it and out through traffic."

As of Aug. 17, TxDOT cameras show the roads have cleared up.
