NMSU ROTC cadets pay tribute to the heroes and victims of 9/11
LAS CRUCES, New Mexico -- NMSU ROTC Cadets paid tribute to the heroes and victims of the September 11th attacks at Pride Field Friday.
They also honored the soldiers who lost their lives in Afghanistan last year.
Boots with flags were placed around a flag pole with the American flag, which will remain at half staff all weekend.
Other events memorializing 9/11 in the city this weekend include a bell ringing and the local firefighter union hosting their annual 9/11 stair climb Sunday at the Electronic Caregiver Building.
