“Breaking Bad,” “Better Call Saul” actor to be honored at Las Cruces International Film Festival

LAS CRUCES, New Mexico -- The Las Cruces International Film Festival will honor actor Giancarlo Esposito with its "Outstanding Achievement in Entertainment" award at its 2023 festival in April.

Esposito will be in attendance to accept the award in Las Cruces, according to festival organizers.

“Giancarlo Esposito is an iconic New Mexico actor known for his historic roles in ‘Breaking Bad’ and ‘Better Call Saul.’ His outstanding and diverse body of work has brought so much recognition to our great state," said Las Cruces International Film Festival Founder and Executive Director Ross Marks.

Esposito will screen a film of his at the Allen Theatres Cineport at 7 p.m. April 13, 2023, and host a Q&A session. Esposito is also scheduled to speak at New Mexico State University about his career.
