‘Rust’ to resume filming this spring

The studio behind "Rust" says the film will resume production this spring.

Most of the original crew and creative team will return to finish the film after the cinematographer was killed in a shooting on the New Mexico set.

The team is adding additional crew members who will be specifically responsible for safety.

Matthew Hutchins, the widower of Hutchins, will join as an executive producer on the movie, along with the original producers. A new cinematographer is also joining, who says she will complete Halyana Hutchins' vision for the film.

Live ammunition is still prohibited on the set.

Star Alec Baldwin is currently facing involuntary manslaughter charges in the incident that killed Hutchins.
