An El Paso Man was killed in Arizona

TUCSON, Arizona--- An El Paso man was lured and killed in Tucson, Arizona earlier this month. 

According to Pima County Sheriff's Office, Malik Brooks, 24, was found with "obvious signs of trauma" near Rose Canyon Lake in Arizona.

Authorities first became aware of the plan after listening to a phone call at the El Paso County Detention Center where individuals discussed Brooks. 

Brooks was lured to Tucson under the pretense that he would be performing at a rap show according to Tucson.com.  He was last seen alive taking an Uber to a residence. 

Four men have been arrested for the alleged murder: Muhidin Kassim, 21; Quinton Holt, 23; Dereck Ashe, 19; and Christopher Ellis, 22.

Holt and Kassim were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit first-degree murder. Ashe was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit first-degree murder and misconduct involving weapons. All three men were booked into the Pima County jail.
