Las Cruces investigators looking for witnesses to shooting that injured 69-year-old man

LAS CRUCES, New Mexico (KVIA) -- Las Cruces Police are hoping to find two people who may have witnessed a shooting that injured a 69-year-old man Tuesday evening.

The shooting happened on the 500 block of Lujan Street just before 9 p.m. May 9. The victim had at least one gunshot wound and was rushed to University Medical Center in El Paso.

Now investigators want to find a bicyclist seen in the area on that night. Officials believe he, and the driver of a car in the area, may have witnessed the shooting.

Anyone with information on these witnesses or on the suspect is asked to call police at (575)-526-0795.
