ABC-7 First Alert: Wind, rain, and cooler air temperatures expected Monday

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) - Our ABC Storm Track Weather Team has issued a First Alert for the wind, rain, and cooler air expected on Monday.

For today, we saw spring-like conditions with breezy winds.

A back door cold front will arrive in the Borderland later tonight into early Monday morning. Much cooler and windy conditions Monday and Tuesday. These winds will be out of the east and the west side of El Paso is expected to see the strongest wind gusts. Likewise, with this cold front, we will see a chance of scattered rain showers.

Looking into the rest of your work week, everything will clear out and warm up into the mid to upper 70s. We will possibly see near-record-high temperatures by this coming Saturday.
