Two people dead in crash on I-25 north of Border Patrol checkpoint

DONA ANA COUNTY, New Mexico (KVIA) -- A crash involving a semi on I-25 left two people dead this afternoon. The collision happened about ten miles north of the Border Patrol checkpoint.

New Mexico DPS officials say the investigation is still ongoing. They were not able to confirm which vehicle the victims were in at the time of the crash.
