First Alert: Cool, wet weather eases by Sunday

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- For Saturday, rain showers are expected to continue across the region and East of the Rio Grande.

Most locations are expected to recieve less than a quarter-inch of rain, with Southern Hudspeth County possibly seeing up to three-quarters of an inch.

Continuous cloud cover and easterly winds will keep temperatures unusually cool, with highs generally below 60 F for this weekend.

Drier and quieter conditions are expected for tomorrow, followed by a gradual warm up next week.

Highs for today will be 56 El Paso, 59 Las Cruces.
