New Mexico Basketball Playoffs: Las Cruces boys top Los Lunas, Centennial girls fall to Eldorado

LAS CRUCES, New Mexico - The high school basketball playoffs in New Mexico are officially underway.

Tuesday in Las Cruces, the Las Cruces boys teams and the Centennial girls team played their quarterfinal matchups.

In the Class 5A boys high school playoffs, the Las Cruces Bulldawgs played host to the Los Lunas Tigers.

It was a low scoring game in first half, but the Bulldawgs would come out on the winning end by a final score of 46-38.

Las Cruces moves on to semifinals where they will face Roswell High School.

The game is scheduled for Thursday in Roswell, NM.

Unfortunately on the girls side, Centennial's playoff run came to an early end after the Hawks fell to Eldorado by a final score of 47-44.
