Friday Scoreboard: High School Baseball & Softball Playoffs

EL PASO, Texas - The high school baseball playoffs rolled on with several teams from El Paso in action in the area round.

One team from the Borderland has already punched their ticket to the regional quarterfinals after winning both of their games.

The Riverside Rangers are area champions after they defeated the Snyder Tigers in game two of the best of three series.

The Montwood Rams also started their series on the right foot after defeating Southlake Carroll in game one.

While the baseball playoffs are still in the area round, two softball teams from El Paso began their series in the regional quarterfinals.

Americas and Hanks are looking to stay alive in the playoffs, but they'll have some work to do after both teams lost their opening games.
