UTEP stuns Boise State, earns biggest win of Dana Dimel era

EL PASO, Texas -- UTEP played its most complete game of the season en route to a 27-10 win over Boise State, marking the biggest win of the Dana Dimel era.

It's also the first win for the Miners over Boise State in program history.

JUCO transfer Marcus Bellon returned a 47-yard punt for a touchdown late in the third quarter to give the Miners a 20-10 lead.

El Paso native Reynaldo Flores scored his first collegiate touchdown to cap a 14-play, 80-yard drive that ate up more than nine minutes of the 4th quarter clock.

The Miners improve to 2-3 on the year as they head back into C-USA play when they travel to Charlotte next Saturday.
