El Paso Locomotive FC announced today that it has mutually agreed to part ways with defender Artem Kholod.

The Ukrainian joined the club from Shakhtar Donetsk in August of the 2022 season, bringing in depth to the right back position.

He made four appearances for Locomotive during his time in El Paso, most recently against Union Omaha in the U.S. Open Cup earlier this season.

The club thanks Kholod for his contributions and wishes him success in the future.

El Paso Locomotive FC are back in action this Saturday, July 8 at Monterey Bay FC. Kickoff from Cardinale Stadium is set for 8 p.m. MT and will be broadcast live on ESPN+.

Locomotive will return to Southwest University Park on Saturday, July 12, kicking off a three-match homestand against 2022 league champions San Antonio FC, who El Paso drew 2-2 against earlier this season in a feisty matchup. The rematch will be broadcast live on ESPN+.
