San Elizario headed to state championship game; Eagles top Navasota 1-0 in extra time

GEORGETOWN, Texas - The San Elizario Eagles are headed back to the Class 4A state championship game.

Wednesday in Georgetown, TX the Eagles defeated Navasota in extra time 1-0.

The lone goal came by way of a penalty kick in the final minutes of the second overtime period.

The PK was made San Elizario's Eduardo Marquez.

San Elizario will face Boerne High School in the championship game Friday at 2:30 p.m. CT.

The Eagles are looking to win their 4th state championship in program history.

The last time they won a state title in boys soccer was in 2019.
