Locomotive FC battle to 1-1 draw against FC Tulsa; Locos extend unbeaten streak

EL PASO, Texas - September 25, 2026 – El Paso Locomotive FC split the points with FC Tulsa on Friday night, playing to a 1-1 draw at Southwest University Park.

The result extended the Locos’ unbeaten streak to nine games.

FC Tulsa was the first team to get on the board, finding the back of the net in the eighth minute.

Locomotive responded less than 10 minutes later when Beto Avila sent a low shot to the far post and past the Tulsa goalkeeper to level the match.

Despite the early goals from both sides, neither team could find another breakthrough before halftime, sending the two sides into the break tied at 1-1.

The second half was another physical battle for both sides, with each team being shown two yellow cards. That would be the only action in the referee’s book, as neither team could find a game-winner, and the match ended in a 1-1 draw.

The Locos will head to Lexington, Kentucky next Saturday for their match against Lexington SC. Kickoff is set for 5:00 pm MT.
