1 new virus death; increase in ICU patients reported in El Paso

EL PASO, Texas -- The El Paso Department of Public Health reported one new coronavirus death and a double-digit increase in ICU patients on Monday.

The death toll now stands at 91 in El Paso County.

Health officials reported 77 new cases, bringing the total to 3,454 cases. Nearly 2,300 people have recovered, which leaves 1,072 active cases.

There are 96 patients in the hospital with 64 in the intensive care unit -- an increase of 11 from the day before. There are 34 patients on ventilators.

Free coronavirus testing has been extended in El Paso County until June 12.

    1. Agree. Get those protesters tested. Also include the protesters to went in the Michigan capitol building with their long rifles. I say test everyone who ignore social distancing to protest regardless with what they protested about.

      1. But obviously hypocrisy will prevail. The leftist protestors will be given preferential treatment. Meaning no face mask, no social distancing and no prosecution. Exception to COVID-19 testing. Awards will be given to those radicals who do the most destruction and theft. BTW – What did they destroy at the Michigan capitol building peaceful protest?……crickets?
