EL PASO, Texas - An episode of ABC-7 anchor Stephanie Valle's Borderland Crimes podcast has been awarded a Regional Edward R. Murrow award. Region 6 covers stations in Texas and Oklahoma. El Paso is in the Small Market category.

The award recognizes news stories that uphold the Radio Television Digital News Association code of ethics, technical expertise and exemplify the impact of journalism as a service to the community, according to the RTDNA.
