One dead in rollover crash on Transmountain
UPDATE: El Paso County Sheriff's Office confirmed one person died in a Saturday morning rollover crash on Transmountain.
The driver who died was identified as Michael Arden Smith.
Deputies were called to the eastbound lanes of Loop 375 where they found a car "off the side of the mountain."
The El Paso Fire Department Special Rescue had to help authorities with the recovery of the body.
EL PASO, Texas - El Paso County Sheriff's are currently at the scene of a severe crash that resulted in serious injuries.
It happened Saturday morning along Loop 375 and mile marker 19.
All eastbound traffic is closed while the investigation in ongoing.
