Car crashes into store in northwest El Paso

UPDATE: According to an employee, a woman in her 70s was going to the store to pick up a burrito. The employee says instead of applying the brakes, she hit the gas pedal. She was fine, and no one inside the building was hurt.

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- Just one day after a mini-van ended up on top of two cars in a parking lot, an ABC-7 viewer sent us a picture of a car that crashed into a business.

According to Phil Arnold, the crash happened around 1:15 p.m. Thursday.

It happened at the Valley Super Market on 850 Resler in northwest El Paso.

The picture shows damage to the front of the store with shattered glass on the front entrance.
