1 hurt in car, semi-truck crash at southbound Loop 375 near Alameda
EL PASO, Texas -- A crash along southbound Loop 375 at Alameda on Tuesday night led to a shutdown of two lanes of the highway, causing a significant traffic backup.
The crash involving a car and a semi-truck happened around 8:30 p.m.
Police and fire crews were on scene, and firefighters said one person was taken the hospital with minor injuries.
As of 9 p.m., the traffic backup was to the North Loop and police estimated it would take two hours to clear the scene.
No further details were immediately available.
