65-year-old El Paso man killed when car is hit by speeding pickup

UPDATE, July 25: Police on Sunday identified the man killed in a weekend traffic collision as 65-year-old Perfecto Aispuro Beltran of El Paso.

Investigators said Beltran's car was struck by a speeding pickup truck as he was turning at the intersection of 3600 E. Yandell and 700 Copia in central El Paso about 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.

The impact from the crash resulted in the pickup rolling over while dragging Beltran's car with it and forcing it into a parked car.

    1. Hey! I learned how to “defensively” drive in Naples. Was stationed there two years, 68-70. There are only two required items on an Italian car, the horn and the accelerator!

      1. Naples is the strangest place to drive I’ve ever been to. What’s amazing is that they have less traffic deaths and injuries than we do.
