ABC-7 First Alert: Storms increase as the weekend approaches

An ABC-7 First Alert is in effect as thunderstorm activity returns to the area. I hope you enjoyed the calm weather we've had because it will all be coming to an end. A weak upper low will move in from the east and provide instability and boost thunderstorms. Flash flooding will be the main threat, especially for areas west. Saturday, the storms won't be as intense for areas east.
