ABC-7 First Alert: Winds pick up Friday with cooler air in place

Winds will gust out of the W/NW Friday at 40 mph. The cooler temps will make it feel a bit cooler as well.

Peak wind gusts will hit 40 mph between 1-6 pm Friday with some isolated spots of blowing dust and sand.

Strong winds will weaken a bit for Saturday with gusts around 35 mph.
