ABC-7 StormTRACK Weather: The Monsoon before the Monsoon

Happy Saturday everyone! The rain has finally returned to the Borderland as a Monsoon like preview. We have several thunderstorms across the region this afternoon and today could be the first but not the last day we see a thunderstorm in El Paso.

Rain chances stay for the week ahead. Now some days will be better than others, and not every day will you see rain. Just like in our Monsoon season (starts on June 15th), the storms are really unpredictable due to the gust fronts. Storms can form nearly anywhere, and when they release their winds, they could help start another storm nearly anywhere as well. Watch the skies for any hazards tonight.

Temperatures will be warm for the next several days, in the upper 70s and low 80s. Afternoons will be breezy, especially with outflow boundaries. Stay safe and stay weather aware!
