ABC-7 StormTRACK Weather: Drier today, rain returns tomorrow

Good morning to you all! We've finally seen some rain here around the region this week and are still expecting more for the weekend. However, for today, we are not looking at much rain across El Paso or Las Cruces. If you really want to see rain, drive up to the Sacs and Gila Wilderness.

However, if you are someone with patience, you can just wait until tomorrow when we will get another round of rain area wide. A cold front will move through late tonight into early tomorrow morning which will bring moisture back into the region. I think the best chance of rain will be tomorrow evening! Tomorrow morning and midday will be dry for most of the region.

It also will pick up the winds as it passes- top gusts will reach about 35 mph, especially for those on the west side. After tomorrow, Sunday and the new work will be drier again as well as warmer.
