ABC-7 StormTRACK Weather: Drying out for the work week

Happy Sunday! It's another warm and mostly sunny day across the Borderland. Where is the rain, you might ask? It's a bit more north than Las Cruces at about 4 PM this afternoon. For those looking for more rain, you'll have to wait a few more weeks until our monsoon really gets going. The pattern we've experienced this week was much like a monsoon, but the actual start of our rainy season is on June 15th.

We will be hot and dry for the next several days! Our temperatures will be above average every single day by several degrees. We should be sitting around 89 but our highs will be in the mid 90s, which is more like mid June temperatures. Winds will not have a huge impact this week, just mostly breezy in the afternoons. It looks like the next windy day will be this weekend. Stay hydrated!
