ABC-7 First Alert: Record heat continues

El Paso tied a record high today of 105. This is our 40th consecutive triple in a row, with 41 on the year so far. The record for triples is 62 set in 1994.

Temps will slowly cool down by the weekend with rain chances slowly rising. We are likely to see the consecutive triple-digit days come to an end by early next week.
