ABC-7 First Alert: Back door cold front brings cooler temps, scattered showers

The ABC-7 First Alert continues for scattered showers and thunderstorms through tonight.

A back door cold front moved into the region and spread rainfall across parts of the Borderland. The rain showers will continue Tuesday afternoon into Wednesday morning. The heaviest rainfall will be north of El Paso, where a half-inch to over an inch is possible in the Sacramento Mountains.

The El Paso area could see about a tenth to a quarter inch of rainfall.

Enjoy the cooler temperatures highs will reach the 80s to lower 90s.
