ABC 7 First Alert: Quiet today, windy tomorrow

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- The ABC 7 First Alert continues for the Borderland ahead of a major change that we will see starting tomorrow.

For today, the warm quiet weather pattern will continue with us topping out in the upper sixties and lower seventies again, but the change will come tomorrow as a system drops into the Borderland. Winds will increase in the later this evening.

Before the cold front arrives, we will see very windy conditions on Friday. Wind gusts will be approximately forty-five miles per hour out of the west.

By Saturday as the cold front blows in, winds will then turn out of the northeast with wind gusts as high as thirty-five miles per hour with wind chills.

Behind the front, it will be much colder! Temperatures will be in the mid-twenties.

Unfortunately, we are not expecting much moisture with this system.
