ABC-7 First Alert: Winds pick up Friday through the holiday weekend

Gusty winds will increase for the upcoming holiday weekend. Peak gusts will be from the SW at 35-45 mph, with some blowing dust and sand.

Highs will be warm with upper 70s and lower 80s with some periods of high clouds. Rain chances should hold off until later Monday and Tuesday of next week.
