ABC-7 First Alert: Storm chances build!

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) - We are under an ABC-7 First Alert as storm chances climb this week.

We woke to active rainfall this morning after storms kicked up late Sunday. Overall rain chance will weaken some today as storms look to impact surrounding areas. However, risk for rain does continue today but will climb more significantly into your Tuesday.

For today expect a 20-30% chance for rain. By Tuesday rain chance could exceed 40-50%.

Another change we will notice is a drop in temperature. We will start off this work week with above average temps. El Paso expected to reach a high of 96, Las Cruces 95. By mid week temperatures could dip into the 80s.
