Despite the thick fog Thursday morning the weather will be nice and clear this afternoon.

A warming trend will begin today and will run through the weekend, temperatures will reach the low 60s this afternoon. Tonight's temperatures will drop to the 30s across the area.
Friday afternoon the winds will be light with breezy conditions across the Sacramento Mountains. Saturday will be breezy but the winds will increase Sunday.

The winds will be strongest on the east slopes, east and northeast sides of town will see winds gust peak up to 40 mph. Cooler temperatures will arrive next week.
